Introduction: On his deathbed, the head of the Linded Clan, Sam Linden, tasks his associate Hanson Gold with finding his wronged wife, Ariel Mason, and their daughter, Eli. Sam plans to transfer control of the Linden Clan to Ariel. However, before he can publicly reveal that his son, Teddy, is actually Ariel’s flesh and blood, he passes away. Hanson finds Ariel and conveys Sam’s final wish, but she mercilessly refuses. With no other option, Hanson disbands the Linden Clan.

After Hanson leaves, the village tyrant comes to bully Ariel, ultimately driving Eli to her death. The villagers turn a blind eye and even aid the bully. At Eli’s funeral, the tyrant humiliates Ariel once more. Unable to endure any longer, Ariel contacts Hanson and agrees to take over the Linden Clan, becoming its new head.
